Proud of Stourbridge

Lloyds Bank are giving communities the opportunity to champion local causes and help them win grants. Three local community groups in Stourbridge have been shortlisted, and the winners could win up to £3,000 in funding. The groups are:

Sunflower Children's Centre: A centre which provides occupational therapy for children with sensory or physical disabilities. Vote here

Margot James, MP for Stourbridge, has congratulated local football club Pure Sport Foundation FC on securing a grant from the Football Foundation.

The award, which will constitute a £6000 grant for the club, will enable the organisation to create new teams.

The money was granted through the Football Foundation’s ‘Grow the Game’ scheme, which invests in the development of local teams and aims to increase participation by both players and volunteers.

Margot James, MP for Stourbridge, has congratulated local cycling group, Stourbug, for successfully campaigning for new cycle storage at Stourbridge Junction Station.
