MP congratulates local West Midlands School Chef of the year finalist

27th February 2012

Margot James MP has congratulated Donna Westwood from Withymoor Primary School, for reaching the regional final of the West Midlands School Chef of the year competition.

The Final took place on the 21st February, where Ms Westwood competed against five other school chefs from across the West Midlands. Despite unfortunately not going through to the National Final, her main course of Quorn and Butternut Squash Curry was highly commended by the judges.

The competition is run by LACA (Local Authority Caterers Association) who provide school meals for over 22,000 schools throughout the UK.
