Margot has welcomed the football tournament in which councillors and staff from Dudley Council will compete to raise money for charitable causes. The tournament will see elected members take on council officers at Redhill School from 6-8pm on the 28th August. The event is open to the public, with all money raised going to three charities: Diabetes UK Stourbridge, Dudley and District Support Group and Dudley Stroke Association.
Margot said: ‘This is a great way to raise money for three very worthwhile causes. I am sure that the evening will be lots of fun for players and audience alike, and will raise a significant amount of money for these important charities. I’d like to wish the very best of luck to all the teams involved.’
