Margot attends St Thomas' Church appeal launch

Margot James attended the launch of the final appeal at St Thomas’s Church in Market Street.
£400,000 has been raised by Rev Ron Curtis and his team since 2006 and the improvements to the grade 1 listed building have been extensive. During the works the Church ceiling was found to be in need of repair and the final push for £100,000 launched last week is to raise money for the ceiling.
Margot said:
“St Thomas’s is a fine building and a landmark in our town centre, fundraising to date has been fantastic and I support Ron Curtis and his team’s effort in securing the money necessary to finish the job”.
