MP visits Thorns Primary School
27th January 2012
Margot James MP visited Thorns Primary School on Friday the 20th January. Margot was joined by members of the School Council for a tour of the school and met up with children and staff.
Margot was shown some of the projects the students had been working on; this term the school project is Space. Margot also visited one class who had turned their playhouse into a Chinese restaurant to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and met with a group of children who had just completed a road safety session on the pelican crossing.
Margot said “The children at Thorns were very welcoming and it was fantastic to see all of the many projects that they have been working hard on.”
