Margot visits Beacon Centre
24th February 2009
Margot James visited the Beacon Centre for the Blind in Wolverhampton earlier in the month. The Centre provides services for visually impaired people in Stourbridge and across the Black Country.
As well as a drop-in centre, the Centre manages a residential home on site for people over 65. Margot said “It was
wonderful to hear how much residents enjoyed the home. They spoke in glowing terms about the staff and the quality of life there.”
“We read in the press about sub-standard homes for older people that it is great to see such a high standard locally.”
