Getting things done
23rd February 2009
Margot regularly attends local meetings so that she can listen to local residents’ concerns and make sure that things get done to help them. Residents around Gauden Road and the Queensway were pleased that resurfacing work was brought forward.
Since the new year she has attended Police and Community meetings (PACT) in Pedmore and Wollescote. The main problems reported are speeding traffic, the state of the roads including parking issues and anti-social behaviour. As a result of complaints made by residents in Gauden Road, Margot ensured that Dudley Council listened at first hand to what was wrong.
Work starts this month to improve the road and Margot is working to get the pavement sorted out as soon as possible.
