Edge appoints Margot James as Ambassador

Leading educational foundation Edge has appointed Stourbridge Conservative Candidate Margot James to its forum of Ambassadors. Other ambassadors already recruited include Sir Paul Judge, Sir Alan Jones, Sir Mike Tomlinson and David Blunkett.
Edge is a totally independent, well-resourced educational foundation dedicated to raising the status of practical and vocational learning - and thus ensuring that there are many paths to success for young people.
Margot said "I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to contribute my expertise and to learn from Edge. High quality skills based learning is vital for our country's future and I am determined to do what I can to eradicate the image of the vocational sector as being somehow second class to that of academia".
