Midnight walk for the hospice

Margot James, Conservative candidate for Stourbridge and Cllr. Karen Shakespeare turned out in support of the Mary Stevens Hospice on Saturday night.
Margot and Karen joined 300 women from around the area in a four mile walk at midnight. The walk took place around the grounds of the Park Hall Estate in Blakedown. Margot and Karen raised almost £200.00 for the hospice towards the £10,000 total achieved by the event.
Margot said “We are very lucky to have the Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge and it is good to be able to get out and do something to help the invaluable work that is done at the hospice for end of life care. Janet Jones and her team achieve amazing results with all their fundraising and are an inspiration to all of us”.
