Action on roads
8th May 2009
Residents in Rye Croft, Wollescote, called in Margot after successive approaches to the council appeared to me leading nowhere. Rye Croft is a pleasant cul de sac with a green island. Lorries have turned parts of the green space in to a quagmire which is spoiling the environment for residents.
Margot arranged for Dudley Council road engineers to visit the site and recommend improvements. The improvements should be carried out in the next couple of weeks that will improve the appearance of the green island, whilst enabling emergency vehicles to gain access when required.
