Objection to Planning Application: P10/0075
The siting of a forty foot telephone mast on a green and open space in a residential area will have a very negative impact on the local environment. The mast is to be sited on the pavement next to a green space where children walk to and from four schools in the vicinity of the proposed site. There are a large number of homes and families living very close to the proposed site and the mast will be a blot on the landscape, will spoil an open space and is on the paved area by a busy junction (Hillfields Road opposite Oakhill Drive). There must be an alternative option O2 could consider locally where the environmental impact would not be so great. I support local residents in their bid to Dudley MBC to reject this application.
